GLASGOW — Oasis fans believe they have cracked a set of cryptic clues hidden in a new promotional video, with the numbers appearing to point to Celtic Park in Glasgow. The 23-second teaser, shared on the band’s social media accounts, shows two boys inside what looks like a Scottish chip shop.
Internet sleuths say details in the background form the map co-ordinates for Celtic’s Parkhead stadium, fuelling fresh talk that the Manchester band could play there next year. Some fans think the venue may even be the first stop on a new tour.
The speculation comes after the Gallagher brothers’ reunion run drew huge crowds across 41 sold-out stadium shows in 14 countries, including three nights at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh in August 2025.
How the chip shop details were turned into co-ordinates
Fans say the numbers in the teaser are hidden in plain sight. The advert for a £55.84 family chippy bundle and a poster for radio station Sol FM 98 92 were read as a reference to the latitude 55.849892N, which matches Celtic Park.
Other details were also folded into the theory. A fridge sticker saying it should be kept at -4, a poster listing the daily special at £2.05 and a taxi number containing the area code 638 were taken together to form the stadium’s longitude, -4.205638W.
The clip has triggered a wave of online analysis, with supporters sharing frame-by-frame breakdowns of the video and comparing the clues with the location of Parkhead.
Scottish references that fuelled the Celtic theory
The teaser also includes several Scottish touches that fans say strengthen the case for a Glasgow announcement. Robert Carlyle appears on a television in the background through a clip from Oasis song Little by Little.
The chip shop fridge is stocked with Irn Bru and other AG Barr products, while one of the boys hands over a Mars Bar to be deep fried, a well-known Scottish chippy treat. Online theories have also pointed to the boys’ position in the frame, which some say mirrors Noel and Liam Gallagher on the cover of Definitely Maybe.
None of these details confirms a concert, but they have added to the sense that the band is building towards a major announcement.

The band’s connection with Celtic has long been noted, rooted in the Gallagher brothers’ Irish family background. Roll With It has become an unofficial Celtic anthem after being adopted by supporters around the 1997 League Cup final.
